> Jason Stoltz
Jason Stoltz with a National Diploma in Marketing (University of Johannesburg), is strategic head of this field within the Group’s Design House. Stoltz has made marketing his long term career. His particular interest lies in the specialised field of brand architecture on which he is considered an expert, in both the public and private sector, because of his visible achievements. He has brought with him to the Bosasa Group, ten years working experience with powerful brands, listed companies and solid relationships with captains of industry. His role then, both as a marketer and leader to a large staff contingent earned him respect as a mentor and tutor to those eager to acquire his knowledge and skills. Stoltz has driven comprehensive elements of marketing, in a trusted leadership role. He was group marketing manager for Ellies Holdings Ltd. and engaged first hand with powerful brands intertwined with the Ellie’s product mix. Co branding initiatives with Spar, Pick n Pay and Samsung, were some of the companies that fell within his portfolio. At one stage he had a product portfolio of over 10,000 line items in both retail and trade markets for which he was directly responsible. As a mentor he is appreciated for encouraging staff innovation and initiatives but couples this to the mantra “...if you have an idea, run with it and prove that it works - but be accountable for the consequences”.
Stoltz is no dilettante. Because he has so successfully translated his mandate with the Bosasa Group into visible professional branding, which have earned accolades for the Group, Stoltz has much to share with WIBL students.
