Papa Leshabane

The scope of Papa Leshabane’s  portfolio in his position as Executive Director of the Bosasa Group of Companies,   makes him an important member of the advisory board.  Leshabane is the voice of the Group in all facets of communication and media.

The breadth of Leshabane’s experience,   which he readily shares with students, makes him an important contributor to growing  ‘broad perspective thinking’.    As media liaison head, Leshabane leads media coverage on company achievements and expansion. All communication/ media events fall within the scope of his direction. He is also responsible for Customer Relationship Management.

Leshabane is also actively involved in all facets of Human Resources in the Group  with special emphasis on the design and management of those processes which support business strategy. Known for his pragmatism, he translates business strategy into operational and human resource plans. He also oversees generalist human resource functions and is the architect  behind our performance management system.

Leshabane’s role in the WIBL is highly respected because of his background.  He  has gained extensive experience as a management consultant having worked in a broad spectrum of executive and strategic activities including change management, organisational design and change within the Provincial Government, Local Government, Energy, FMCG and private sectors.

A  Masters diploma followed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management to guarantee comprehensive understanding of an evolving field where statutory frameworks change constantly.  He also completed a Management Advancement programme with  the University of the Witwatersrand.
