Mogale Academy

Though the Watson Institute of Business Leadership is the flagship for leadership development for the Bosasa Group, we take cognisance that all members of staff are not ready for entry at this level.  This confirms our belief that all members of staff from ground floor entry level, be accorded an opportunity to grow towards this pinnacle of education.

It is our policy to provide graded,   equal development opportunities for all personnel. With a uniquely adapted process latent potential can be identified and monitored for managerial positions.  Mogale Business Park houses a preparatory training school - the Mogale Academy.  At this Academy, entry personnel who wish to grow their careers are given access to a relevant range of essential skills which open up opportunities in both specialised fields and/or business units. These include inter alia, functional and technical skills, basic financial skills, administration, communication, security and customer service/call centre skills.
It is in this environment that management is able to evaluate ongoing talent architectural needs and match these needs with emerging talent. Working closely with the Human Resources Department, individuals are nurtured into positions which maximise individual and company interests.
Completion of a range of basic courses then assists in channelling staff towards junior management positions and finally an opportunity for selection by the leadership to be enrolled at the WIBL.
